Workmanship Warranty
Custom wiring work performed by LMTR Performance includes a one-year workmanship warranty from the date of project completion.
This warranty covers defects in workmanship related to the wiring harness build itself. It does not cover:
- Misuse or abuse of the vehicle or electrical system
- Improper installation, including installation not performed by LMTR Performance
- Crash damage
- Water intrusion
- Heat damage
- Customer modification of the wiring system after delivery
- Failure of third-party components (ECUs, PDMs, sensors, switches, or other hardware not manufactured by LMTR Performance)
Calibration & Tuning — Not Warrantied
Calibration, tuning, and motorsport-use services (MoTeC calibration exclusively) are not warrantied. This is due to the variable nature of engines, fuel systems, mechanical condition, operating conditions, and customer use following calibration. Calibration work reflects the vehicle's condition and the information available at the time of tuning.
Making a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, contact us at lmtrperformance@gmail.com with your project details and a description of the issue, including photos or video where possible. We will evaluate the claim and determine whether it falls within the scope of the workmanship warranty described above.
Deposits
Most custom projects require a deposit before design, planning, or material ordering begins. Deposits are used to secure project scheduling and to cover initial design and material costs.
Deposits are non-refundable once design work, planning, or material ordering has begun, as these represent time and costs already incurred on the Client's behalf. If a project has not yet entered design, planning, or material ordering, please contact us directly to discuss deposit refund eligibility on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellations
If a project is cancelled by the Client after work has begun, the Client is responsible for payment of all work performed, materials ordered, and costs incurred up to the point of cancellation. Any remaining deposit balance beyond costs incurred will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Refunds on Completed Work
Because each project is custom-built around a specific vehicle, ECU, and customer specification, completed wiring harnesses and calibration work are generally not eligible for refund once delivered, except where a workmanship defect is confirmed under the warranty terms above.
